“Most people are very excited to have their hair done. I’m really good at knowing what’s best on them. If you’re confident in your approach, they’re (the clients) confident. I believe I know what I do best. I’ve worked all my life with hair.”

A native of Nice, France, Jose’ learned his trade on the job at European salons in cities including Paris and Berlin. But it wasn’t until he came to the United States that his opportunity met preparation.

Jose’ ventured to the states at the urging of his best friend, the late Jacques Morali, the producer of the music group The Village People. “He said to me Jose’, you are made for America. I came to L.A. and fell in love with this country and the rest is history.

Mr. Eber is also known as the architect of the world’s most acclaimed hair styles. A celebrity himself Jose’ has run his hands through glamorous Hollywood personalities, legendary stars, men and women from all walks of life.
